Auckland, NZ
A New Zealand deployment for Oceania workloads, with clear regional transfer allowances.
Build a routed service or network lab in Auckland. Deploy a KVM VPS from $2.99/month, then add a free BGP session through the HYEHOST panel using your ASN and authorised prefixes.

Compare regional plans, network allowances and automated BGP before choosing where to deploy.

Cloud plans include IPv4, IPv6 and SSD storage with the same CPU and RAM allocations as the UK and US. NZ public transfer is smaller: 1 TB on VPS 100, 1.5 TB on 200, 2 TB on 250, 2.5 TB on 300, 3 TB on 350 and 5 TB on 400.
Extra transfer is $2.50/TB per month.
Starter VPS for small projects and light workloads.
More memory for a router and a small application stack.
Balanced resources for moderate traffic and steady app stacks.
Power tier for demanding apps, panels and services.
Pro tier for heavier production workloads and bigger stacks.
More CPU and memory for larger routing and application stacks.
Manage the VM and its BGP service in the same account. Free self-serve BGP removes the manual setup queue; you remain responsible for your router configuration and route policy.
Choose New Zealand during ordering and select a VM sized for your routing software and applications. Keep the public transfer allowance in mind when planning traffic.
Open your VM in the HYEHOST panel and add the free BGP service. Enter your ASN, prefixes and the routing details requested by the panel.
Use prefixes you are authorised to announce. Check IRR records and any RPKI ROAs against the ASN you intend to originate before bringing the session online.
Configure BIRD, FRRouting or your preferred router with the assigned neighbour settings. Verify session state, announced routes and actual reachability before sending production traffic.
An Auckland VM gives you a place to run routing software, expose local services or connect an existing network to HYEHOST. Choose the resource level for the work it will do.
Use Budget VPS or Cloud VPS to learn peering, test route filters and validate announcements. Start with restricted policies and a prefix you control. A BGP session does not replace prefix ownership or registry records.
Run your API, monitoring tools or automation on a Cloud VPS alongside its routing configuration. You can adjust CPU, RAM and SSD storage through the usual upgrade path, while buying only the NZ transfer you need.
Choose NZ VDS when a routing workload or nested virtualisation environment needs dedicated CPU resources. VDS plans provide larger transfer allocations than the Cloud and Budget range.
NZ network protection: New Zealand VMs do not include DDoS protection. If protection is a requirement for your workload, compare our Wolverhampton region.
Yes. Add and manage a free BGP session through the HYEHOST panel. Supply the requested ASN and prefix details, then configure your router with the assigned neighbour settings.
Yes, with resources you are authorised to use and announce. Prepare the relevant routing records and confirm the requested details in the panel. You can also explore our RIPE IPv6 and ARIN IPv6 leasing options.
Additional public transfer costs $2.50 per TB per month in 1 TB blocks. Included transfer depends on the VM plan. The 2Gbps Cloud port is a speed limit, not an unlimited transfer allowance.
No. NZ VPS and VDS do not include DDoS protection. Protection is available with our Wolverhampton VM services.
Windows Server is available on VDS1, VDS2 and VDS3 in Auckland, as well as Wolverhampton and Ashburn. Standard Cloud and Budget VPS plans do not support Windows. Choose Windows on NZ VDS and configure any BGP routing software for your operating system.
A free automated session supplies the BGP connection. Choose compute capacity, prepare your network records and check your router policy before using it for production traffic.
A small lab can use Auckland Budget VPS. Larger routing tables, extra peers and applications need more RAM and CPU; compare Cloud VPS and dedicated CPU VDS. Check available route options in the panel before planning around a full table.
Use an ASN and prefixes you are authorised to announce. Check IRR entries and any RPKI ROAs against your intended origin ASN. If you need address space, explore RIPE IPv6 or ARIN IPv6; an allocation alone does not configure the router.
Cloud VPS includes 1–5 TB monthly transfer, Budget 500 GB–1 TB and VDS 4–10 TB. Additional public transfer is $2.50 per TB/month. BGP traffic uses the service’s network allowance.
